In July 2018, the Town of Pendleton contracted with Studio Main to complete a small area streetscape plan for N. Mechanic Street and W. Queen Street. Town Council appointed two members of Council, Councilwoman Sandra Gantt and Councilwoman Denise Jackson, to meet with the Town’s Planning Commission creating a Steering Committee for the creation of this Plan. Public meetings were held on February 26, 2019, May 9, 2019, and August 20, 2020, and a survey was conducted to receive public comments to draft the Plan.  The Plan will begin making its way through the approval process as recommended by the Steering Committee.
