After due notice to the press, Mayor and Town Council met in the Council Chambers of Town Hall. Mayor and all Council were present.
- PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE:
Mayor Crenshaw led everyone in the Pledge.
- PUBLIC HEARING TO RECEIVE PUBLIC INPUT REGARDING MAJOR REVISIONS TO THE PLANNED DEVELOPMENT KNOWN AS “THE FALLS AT MEEHAN LOCATED ON SOUTH MECHANIC STREET”.
Mayor Crenshaw opened the Public Hearing for public comments. Scott Ward asked if we would hear from the Developers.
The Developers and their representatives presented the proposed plans for the revisions to the development.
Mayor Crenshaw closed the Public Hearing.
- COUNCIL UPDATES:
Mayor Crenshaw stated the Patriotic Parade was great, well attended and a lot of fun.
- APPROVAL OF MINUTES – June 1, 2015, Regular Session & Budget Public Hearing; June 15, 2015, Called Meeting.
Scott Ward made a motion to accept the above minutes. Denise Jackson seconded. Unanimous.

Capt. Roland was present to give the report of June. Sandra Gantt asked if there was any news to report on the missing baby. Capt. Roland stated no, there was no new news.

Mayor Crenshaw read the Public Notice for the upcoming General Election.

- “AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE PLANNED DEVELOPMENT CALLED “THE FALLS AT MEEHAN”, ZONED (PD-MU) ALLOWING FOR THE USE OF SINGLE FAMILY, MULTIFAMILY AND COMMERCIAL ON THE PROPERTY LOCATED ON SOUTH MECHANIC STREET AND WESTINGHOUSE ROAD KNOWN AS TRACTS (TMS# 041-00-02-018, 041-00-02-030 & 041-00-02-040)”
- SECOND AND FINAL READING OF THE FOLLOWING:
An addendum was added to the original staff report to change the parking ratio to 1.7 as well as to remove the timeframe of 60 days to obtain an approval letter from Tri-County Technical College for the use of the entrance into the parking lot off Mechanic Street.
Sandra Gantt made a motion to accept Ordinance 15-05 for second and final reading. Denise Jackson seconded. Unanimous.
- A RESOLUTION OF THE PENDLETON TOWN COUNCIL AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATOR TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH THE PENDLETON RECREATION ASSOCIATION FOR CONTINUE SUPPORT OF RECREATION IN THE TOWN PENDLETON
Bruce Kalley made a motion to accept the Resolution. Scott Ward seconded. Unanimous.
Scott Ward asked if there was a number on what the Town spends on Recreation. He stated the town provides a lot more than $4,000.
