Please take a few moments to view the following information regarding Town utilities. Information includes establishing service, deposits, rates, payments, transferring your deposit, terminating service, payment assistance, and after-hours service.
Fees will be assessed as follows for customers with water and sewer service from the Town of Pendleton:
We have some residents who receive their water service from Sandy Springs Water. The Town of Pendleton provides sewer and trash service to these residents. Fees for these customers will be assessed as outlined in the following chart:
Sewer charges billed by the Town of Pendleton are based on your water consumption readings. For example, use of an irrigation system will significantly increase your sewer charges as you will incur sewer charges for all the water you use. It is recommended that you contact your water provider to inquire if it is more feasible for you to have a separate meter installed for water only. Having a second meter for your irrigation system will reduce the sewer charges you incur from the Town of Pendleton as you will not incur sewer charges on water that does not run through the sewer system. You will continue to receive a sewer bill for all water consumption indicated on your main water meter. If you have questions or need further information about this, please contact the Town of Pendleton at 864-646-9409 or Sandy Springs Water at 864-646-7729 In addition to water and sewer, your monthly bill includes trash and recycling pickup as well as the mandatory DHEC fee. It is important to note that sewer usage is based on your water usage. If you have questions or need further information, please call Town Hall at 864-646-9409.

Once you have established service, there are several ways to pay your bill.
1. You may come into the office to pay each month. If you choose this option, please be aware that we accept cash, checks, money orders, and all major credit cards except American Express. Also, any time you do use a card, there will be a 3% convenience fee added to your total.
2. You may mail a payment to the Town of Pendleton at 310 Greenville Street Pendleton, SC 29670
3. You may place your payment in the yellow drop box in our parking lot. For your protection, we ask that you not use cash in the drop box.
4. You may pay online. If you choose this option, be sure to go to https//pendletonsc.mygovhub.com and follow the instructions there. DO NOT google Pendleton Water as this may result in your reaching a third-party site, which will not only cost you more but also delay receipt of your payment. If you are ever charged more than $1.00 for an online transaction, you are not on the Town’s website.
5. You may set up automatic payment from a checking account. To use this option, you will need to complete the Pay by draft from or come to Town Hall with the following a voided check or letter from your bank showing the routing and account numbers and complete a brief registration form. There is no charge for this service, and your account will be drafted monthly on the due date.
If you move from one location to another in our service area, it is possible to transfer your deposit to your new account. In order to do so you must set up a new account for that property. You may have service at both locations for two days only. After that period, we will turn off the water at the old location and you may be required to pay an additional deposit and connect fee for the new location.
We recognize that you may, from time to time, experience water leaks or other issues which result in higher than-normal usage. Should this occur, we may be able to help. If you have a leak, let us know, in writing, the location of the leak and provide evidence that you have had the leak repaired. We may be able to adjust the sewer portion of your bill. This option is available to our water and sewer customers only. Unfortunately, if the leak involves water that has gone into the sewer system, no adjustment is possible. You also have the option of making a payment arrangement for higher-than-normal bills. Using this option, we can break your payment up to make it easier. In addition to our in-house services, there are community resources that offer assistance to our residents. Following is a list of some of these resources.
