A Message from your Mayor

As your mayor, it is my great pleasure to welcome you to the official website of the Town of Pendleton, South Carolina. On behalf of myself, the Town Council, and the entire town staff, we hope you will enjoy this site and discover all that our charming town has to offer.

Pendleton is renowned for its unparalleled southern hospitality. Located along the South Carolina National Heritage Corridor, our picturesque town offers a delightful glimpse into days gone by. With its entire area listed on the National Historic Registry, history is woven into the fabric of every street.

But Pendleton is more than just a historical gem; it’s a community with a vibrant spirit. Our strong civic consciousness is reflected in the many active community groups we have, including the visionary Pendleton Pride in Motion organization, the dynamic Pendleton Area Business Association, and our exceptional Volunteer Fire Department, to name a few.

With a population of approximately 4,000 residents, Pendleton continues to grow while preserving its unique small-town charm. Our shared pride in community events, civic projects, and the quality of life helps us stay connected.

I personally invite you to attend one of my Ask the Mayor sessions. These gatherings will provide an opportunity for you to engage with me directly, share your thoughts, and stay informed about the latest developments in our town. The meetings will be held on the third Tuesday of each month at 6:00 PM. Location vary month to month. All residents are encouraged to attend and participate in the discussion.
