Alliance of Pendleton Area Churches
Many of the area churches participate in the Alliance of Pendleton Churches. Rev. Courtney Krueger coordinates monthly meetings with representatives from all area churches. The mission is to provide opportunities for worship, fellowship and missions for members of Pendleton area churches. Community services are planned throughout the year. Anderson Humane Society
The Anderson County Humane Society is a private, not-for-profit animal welfare organization. An all-volunteer Board of Directors governs the organization. Information on the spay and neuter program can be found here Spay and Neuter Information

Pendleton Garden Club
The Pendleton Garden Club meets monthly on the third Thursday at the Depot located on Cherry Street. Members enjoy guest speakers and field trips while supporting beautification projects in town. For more information, contact Linda McCuen 864-221-6669.

Pendleton Historic Foundation
The Pendleton Historic Foundation owns, maintains and shows the Plantation House Museums, Woodburn and Ashtabula. The Foundation consists of a board of 16 individuals who maintain the houses and secure funding to keep the houses in good condition. A general membership meeting is held each spring to keep members informed of the business of the Foundation. For more information, call 864-646-7249.

Pendleton Pride in Motion is a group of concerned citizens committed to making Pendleton a healthier place to live. The group formed four committees to address the focus areas; Beautification. Communications & Advocacy. Health, Education and Social Services. Community Progress and Smart Growth. A Coordinating Council governs the overall activity of the 501(c)3 organization. The Pendleton Recreation Association is a privately run non-profit association of area residents set up to provide recreation programs for the youth of Pendleton area. Pendleton Community Center, Inc.
A non-profit organization that has dedicatedly served the Pendleton community for over fifty years. It serves as the historical landmark site for the Anderson County Training School as well as The Faith Log Cabin Library. It continues to serve the community as the oldest existing African-American community organization. Monthly meetings are held on the Saturdays before the first Sunday of every month at 4:30 pm.
