FRIENDS OF THE PARK
An organized group of citizens committed to making Veterans Park the best it can be. This organization is a 501c3 non profit and works closely with the Town of Pendleton and the Pendleton Recreation Association to maintain, improve and build upon Veterans Park. Two Maintenance Days are planned during the year for Barrett’s Place Playground and Trotter’s Trail with one in the fall and one in the spring. Friends of the Park meets the third Monday of each month in the Fellowship Hall of Pendleton United Methodist Church at 6:30 pm. New members are welcomed. ALLIANCE OF PENDLETON AREA CHURCHES
Many of the area churches participate in the Alliance of Pendleton Churches. Rev. Courtney Krueger coordinates monthly meetings with representatives from all area churches. The mission is to provide opportunities for worship, fellowship and missions for members of Pendleton area churches. Community services are planned throughout the year. PENDLETON AREA BUSINESS ASSOCIATION
An organization of the businesses in and around the area of Pendleton with the goal in mind to promote Pendleton and its businesses and encourage it to grow in keeping with its historic nature.
PENDLETON AREA BUSINESS COUNCIL
A network of business managers and community leaders whose mission is to “advocate quality business diversity through free enterprise, sound business practice, fair competition, and diversity and to bring needed resources to Pendleton to support partnership organizations. PENDLETON FOUNDATION for BLACK HISTORY and CULTURE

PENDLETON GARDEN CLUB

PENDLETON HISTORIC FOUNDATION
The Pendleton Historic Foundation owns, maintains and shows the Plantation House Museums, Woodburn and Ashtabula. The Foundation consists of a board of 16 individuals who maintain the houses and secure funding to keep the houses in good condition. Pendleton Pride in Motion is a group of concerned citizens committed to making Pendleton a healthier place to live. The group formed four committees to address the focus areas; Beautification. Communications & Advocacy. Health, Education and Social Services. Community Progress and Smart Growth. A Coordinating Council governs the overall activity of the 501(c)3 organization. PENDLETON RECREATION ASSOCIATION
The Pendleton Recreation Association is a privately run non-profit association of area residents set up to provide recreation programs for the youth of Pendleton area. THE PENDLETON COMMUNITY CENTER, INC.
A non-profit organization that has dedicatedly served the Pendleton community for over fifty years. It serves as the historical landmark site for the Anderson County Training School as well as The Faith Log Cabin Library. It continues to serve the community as the oldest existing African-American community organization. Monthly meetings are held on the Saturdays before first Sunday of every month at 4:30 pm.
